Holehouse Road closed on the approach to the ford, although the ford itself was not overflowing.

A gate across half the path into the K-Woodlands.

A gate to get into the K-Woodlands, but with a bike-friendly opening lever.

The end of the Stewartfield Way cycle route, from Kingsgate to the National Museum of Rural Life. The bollards were a little tight, especially so close to the turn onto the crossing.

The gap to the side of the gate would be easier to use if all the other debris was removed. There's another gate up next to the golf course club house, but all is neat and tidy there.

There's a 'give way' at each field access, but there's little chance you'll actually need to give way to anything. The new kerbs appear to be stuck onto the carriageway and have come adrift in some places.

Barrier at the Ardochrig Road entrance to the Whitelee Wind Farm (and pothole!). The track ceases to be asphalt once past the gate.

Gate at entrance to Clyde Walkway next to David Livingstone Memorial Footbridge in Bothwell. The section of walkway from here to Uddingston, past Bothwell Castle, is only just suitable for cycling.

Gate across road has bypass for pedestrians on one side and a low wooden board for cyclists to lift their bikes over at the other.
