The narrow footway here forms part of the East Kilbride to Thorntonhall and Eaglesham cycle route. A pedestrian shown for scale.

The shared footway (although there has been no sign to say so) goes through a bus stop without any widening. Luckily for me, a bus had just left.

Why can't the corner be more rounded? What are the bollards for? Why isn't there a distance for the town centre? The cycle route doesn't even go as far as the town centre. It gives up on Queensway at #31505.

A sign with destinations, but what if I want to go towards Philipshill Cemetery and Carmunnock (route visible through the bridge)?

A very narrow shared-use footway adjacent to the 'no expense spared' A727 dual carriageway flyover and sliproads.

Posts, one of them seemingly just for the hell of it! All three cars were driven through the second red light as well.

The toucan crossing call point post is completely obstructing the cycle side of the footway. If a post was put in a motorway lane like this, it would be flattened by someone driving into it.

The start of the M74 junction cycleway on Cambuslang Road.

The M74 junction cycleway starts just after a slight road narrowing, so users will have to take a defensive road position to avoid being run over, in which case they could just continue on the road in such a position.

The cycleway on the footway starts just after the first M74 on-ramp junction.

NCN756 on the shared footway of Glasgow Road at the M74 motorway flyover. One of the better bits along this road, although there is no separation between the cycleway and the carriageway.
