The narrow footway here forms part of the East Kilbride to Thorntonhall and Eaglesham cycle route. A pedestrian shown for scale.

The shared footway (although there has been no sign to say so) goes through a bus stop without any widening. Luckily for me, a bus had just left.

Why can't the corner be more rounded? What are the bollards for? Why isn't there a distance for the town centre? The cycle route doesn't even go as far as the town centre. It gives up on Queensway at #31505.

Anonymous route signs for the cycle route to Thorntonhall and Eaglesham, but nothing for the shared footway ahead.

A shared footway that is narrower than the adjacent unshared footway.

Is the cycleway so narrow because it is one-way? Probably not.

The footway past the bus stop is shared use, but how would anyone alighting from a bus know?

A sign with destinations, but what if I want to go towards Philipshill Cemetery and Carmunnock (route visible through the bridge)?

A very narrow shared-use footway adjacent to the 'no expense spared' A727 dual carriageway flyover and sliproads.

A very narrow shared-use footway past a bus stop.

The anonymous cycle route signs points left, but the rather narrow footway straight ahead is also shared-use, as can be seen in #92637.

The sign says some anonymous cycle route turns right, but the footway to the left is also shared-use. Plus another pedestrian crossing on a cycle route where a toucan crossing (with the extra call buttons) would be expected.
